I’m C5, an artist from Oakland, CA who has called Los Angeles home for the past 14 years. I’m a hip-hop artist and I believe the gifts I’ve been given by the Most High are meant to uplift, inspire, empower, motivate, and liberate my brother’s and sisters. I’ve coined my genre of music as “High-Vibrational Hip-Hop”. 

 

My mission is to spread love and contribute to the world’s healing through my art. Beyond the music, I strive to be a living embodiment of Jesus Christ every day. My music is a reflection of my life experiences, what I’ve witnessed, the lessons I’ve learned, and how I’ve grown along the way. I live consciously, following a plant-based lifestyle, and I approach everything I do at the highest level possible.

I began honing my craft at 13, inspired by artists like Lil Wayne, OutKast, Tupac, Nipsey Hussle, Jay-Z, J. Cole, and 50 Cent. Hip-hop became a lifeline that helped steer me away from destructive paths and gave me a way to transform my experiences into something meaningful. Since then, I’ve released 13 albums and two mixtapes, using my music to shed light on issues including police brutality, positive policing, overcoming the streets, interracial relationships, fentanyl awareness, addiction, and personal transformation.

I’ve performed across the United States and had the opportunity to share stages with artists including Nipsey Hussle, Too Short, E-40, Chance The Rapper, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Usher and many more. I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating with brands, organizations, and public figures including PETA, Mercy For Animals, Sephora, Cookies, Stiiizy, Target, Black Girl Sunscreen, Vegan Mob, Marshawn Lynch, and E-40.

My work has also been featured on The Talk, and my music has been reposted by The Shade Room, giving my message an opportunity to reach audiences far beyond my own platforms.

Beyond my own music, I create custom songs for public figures, everyday people, initiatives, and brands that are pushing light, love, and positivity into the world. I use my art as a way to celebrate people while they’re here, give them their flowers, and tell their stories in a meaningful way. Whether it’s honoring someone who has inspired me, highlighting an initiative creating positive change, shining light on a brand making an impact, or an everyday person doing the work that deserves their flowers.

 

I use my platform to amplify the good that’s already happening in the world.

I see myself as a vessel of the Most High. Whether through music, acting, or any other form of creative expression, I’m here to spread love, inspire people, encourage conscious living, and help liberate minds so we can all create the best lives we possibly can.
